Aster oblongifolius ‘Raydon’s Favorite’
Michaelmas Daisy |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.085.950
Also known as Fall Asters, these are terrific favorites for autumn colour in the perennial border. Plants form a bushy clump, bearing loads of small daisy flowers. This is a taller selection with bright violet-purple blossoms. Pinch plants before July to maintain a more compact effect. Excellent for cutting. Very good resistance to powdery mildew. Divide plants every two to four years to maintain vigour. More tolerant of drought than most selections.
