This selected form of Japanese Painted Fern has arching triangular leaves of intense silver with contrasting maroon-red veins. The metallic tones become even richer over the summer. Forms a small mound, the perfect size for edging a shady border or growing in containers. Particularly attractive in a massed planting or contrasting with bold-leaved plants such as Hosta. Deciduous. USPP#12803: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
