Echinacea ‘Now Cheesier’
Hybrid Coneflower |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.650.230
A hybrid Coneflower, featuring bright, cheddar-cheese coloured, golden petals surrounding a large orange-green, button-shaped cone. Flowers may lighten slightly after weeks of summer heat. Plant habit is well-branched, strong and bushy. Ideal for sunny borders and growing in mixed containers. Attractive to butterflies. Excellent for cutting. Coneflowers begin blooming in midsummer and continue for months if faded flowers are regularly removed. However leaving some spent blooms on the plants in the fall provides food for wintering birds. A 2010 introduction in the Prairie Stars™ series from Terra Nova Nurseries of Oregon. USPP#23059: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
