Echinacea Orange Meadowbrite™
Meadowbrite Coneflower |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.196.930
(=‘Art’s Pride’) This hybrid offers a total colour breakthrough in Coneflowers. Large single blooms of rich sunset orange appear from midsummer well into the autumn. Flowers are held on branching stems above a low mound of narrow dark green leaves. The fragrant blooms are attractive to butterflies. Flowers are excellent for cutting. Remove faded flowers regularly to encourage more buds to form. Blooming is best with full sun conditions. This is the first of a series of new hybrids developed at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. USPP#15090: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
