Echinacea purpurea ‘Jade’
White Coneflower |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.196.740
A distinctive selection of our native Purple Coneflower, bred in the Netherlands. Plants are strong and bushy in habit and fairly compact in habit, ideal for borders and growing in mixed containers. Flowers have non-drooping white petals surrounding a large inky-green button cone. Petal tips are even tinged faintly with green at first. Flowering begins in midsummer and continues for weeks if faded blooms are regularly removed. Coneflowers are sturdy and easy-care perennials that perform best in a sunny location. Flowers are very attractive to butterflies. Seed heads are useful in dried arrangements. Excellent for cutting. USPP#13769, CPBR#2094: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
