Geranium cinereum Rothbury Gem
Dwarf Cranesbill |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.229.130
(='Gerfos') The hardy Cranesbill Geraniums include a number of varieties best suited to the rock garden or for edging, in well-drained sunny sites. This British selection forms a dense, low cushion of grey-green leaves, bearing small soft-pink flowers each with a deep magenta eye. Begins blooming in late spring, continuing on and off through the summer, especially in regions with cool weather. Nice also in alpine troughs or mixed containers. Clip plants lightly after flowering is over, to promote bushy growth from the middle. From Blooms of Bressingham®. Registered with COPF.
