Corsican Hellebore |
USDA Zone: 6-9 |
Plant number: 1.256.120
Corsican Hellebore is a sturdy species, with clusters of apple-green flowers that appear in late winter and early spring. This terrific selection has leathery light-green foliage, heavily flecked with creamy white, remaining evergreen. Best with morning sun and afternoon shade. Performs best in regions with a mild maritime climate. Gardeners in colder climates would be wise to mulch around the base of the clump with leaves in very late fall. Plants should be trimmed only right after blooming, if at all. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant.
