Corsican Hellebore |
USDA Zone: 6-9 |
Plant number: 1.256.130
Corsican Hellebore is a sturdy species, with clusters of apple-green flowers that appear in late winter and early spring. This terrific selection has leathery evergreen foliage of pewter-silver, overlaid with a network of green veins. Prune old stems that bloomed to the ground in June, to make room for new foliage. Performs best in regions with a mild maritime climate. Gardeners in colder climates would be wise to mulch around the base of the clump with leaves in very late fall. This vegetative clone was Introduced by RD Plants of Devon, UK. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant.
