Hosta ‘Aristocrat’
Plant number: 1.276.150
Hostas are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form a sturdy mound of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This medium-sized selection has lightly corrugated, heart-shaped, powder-blue leaves with wide creamy-yellow margins which lighten to cream or white as the season progresses. Pale lavender flowers appear midsummer. Great for planting in mixed containers or tubs. Hostas go completely dormant in fall, and the dying foliage can be removed anytime before mid-spring. Easily divided in early spring or fall, but plants may be left alone for years. Sport of H. ‘Hadspen Blue’. USPP#11286: unlicensed propagation is prohibited.
