A good choice for the rock garden, or as an edging at the front of the border. Prefers a warm sunny site with good drainage. Easier to grow, and generally tougher than the Tall Bearded Irises. This selection has flowers in shades of maroon to brick-red or bronze. Clumps may be easily divided every 3 to 4 years in August. Drought tolerant once established.
