Leucanthemum × superbum Sunshine
Shasta Daisy |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.316.710
(='Sonnenschein') No sunny border would seem complete without the familiar presence of Shasta Daisies. This German selection has fluffy, double-petalled flowers in an unusual shade of creamy yellow. Excellent for cutting. Removing faded flowers will greatly increase the blooming time. Divide plants in the spring every 2 to 3 years to maintain vigour. Shasta Daisy is a well-behaved garden hybrid, and should not be confused with the weedy Ox-eye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare).
