Sedum ‘Chocolate’
Autumn Stonecrop |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.485.530
The border varieties of Stonecrop are a dependable choice for the late summer and fall garden, offering foliage interest earlier in the season, then a colourful display of flowers in the fall. This introduction features branching heads of salmon-pink flowers, over a mound of bronzy-brown leaves. If plants become floppy in late summer, pinch by half in June the following season, to encourage bushiness. Seed heads have good winter effect. Outstanding cut flower, and also attracts butterflies.
