The border varieties of Stonecrop are a dependable choice for the late summer and fall garden, offering foliage interest earlier in the season, then a colourful display of flowers in the autumn. This recent British selection has deep purple-black foliage with clusters of ruby-red flowers that are a stunning contrast. Even the dried seed heads have good winter effect. An excellent choice for the border, rock garden or in containers. Superb with ornamental grasses. Good cutflower, also attractive to butterflies. USPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
