Viola sororia ‘Rubra’
Woolly Violet |

Plant number: 1.545.710
An unusual selection of a violet native to Eastern North America. Plants form a mound of large heart-shaped leaves, bearing loads of rich wine-red flowers in spring. Grows easily in any shady area. Combines beautifully with spring blooming bulbs, especially Daffodils. These will seed around freely in the garden, so choose a site where they can spread. Excellent for naturalizing in a woodland area. Flowers are edible!
