Achillea ptarmica ‘Nana Compacta’

Compact Sneezewort Yarrow

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.010.160

Sneezewort Yarrow is an easy old-fashioned kind of perennial. It thrives in nearly any sunny situation, even in poor soil. This compact selection produces small semi-double white flowers for most of the summer, over a bushy mound of ferny leaves. Nice for cutting, fresh or dried. Inclined to spread, so divide or reduce the clumps in spring as required to control. Powdery mildew is sometimes a problem, and an organic fungicide containing sulphur should bring this under control, if sprayed every two weeks starting in mid spring. Clumps are easily divided in early fall or early spring.
