Ajania pacifica ‘Pink Ice’

Pink Ice Daisy

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.029.100

(Formerly Chrysanthemum pacificum) This Japanese species forms a bushy mound of lobed green leaves, attractively edged with silver, remaining attractive all season long. Flowers appear in late fall, with soft pink petals surrounding a yellow button centre. Superb as a foliage plant in the border, or in containers. Very tolerant of summer heat and humidity. Nice as a cut flower. Deserves to be better known. Plants may be kept especially compact, if desired, by pinching the growth in June or July. Easily divided in early spring.
