Alchemilla ellenbeckii

Creeping Lady’s Mantle

USDA Zone: 6-9

Plant number: 1.031.040

Low and carpeting, this species of Lady’s Mantle is quite different from the usual selections. Plants form a very low carpet of tiny green leaves, held on red stems that root into the ground. Tiny yellow flowers are hidden among the leaves. Best in a moist, shady area, especially good between flagging stones or as an edging. Clumps are easily divided by ripping apart into small pieces in early spring. Evergreen.
