Boltonia asteroides ‘Pink Beauty’
False Aster |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.106.080
Similar in effect to a tall fall-blooming Aster or Michaelmas Daisy. Billowing clouds of soft pink, golden-eyed daisies appear in late summer and fall. Foliage is clean and healthy, forming a bushy upright mound. Nice background plant for a sunny border. Flowers are also great for cutting. Selected from a native North American wildflower. Tolerates summer heat and humidity. Plants may be kept at a more compact size by pinching once or twice before the end of June, otherwise they may need to be staked. Easily divided in early spring.
