Campanula cochleariifolia ‘Elizabeth Oliver’
Fairy Thimble Bellflower |
USDA Zone: 2-9 |
Plant number: 1.110.980
Fairy Thimble is a cute little alpine Bellflower for early summer display. Plants form a low creeping green mat with an abundant show of nodding bells. 'Elizabeth Oliver' is a British selection with flowers like tiny double blue roses. An easy plant for any sunny or part shaded rock garden, also useful for edging or as a groundcover. Plants seem to need good drainage, particularly during the winter months. Adapts well to growing in pots or alpine troughs. Divide every 2 years in early spring.
