Cyclamen coum ‘Something Magic’

Hardy Winter Cyclamen

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.171.260

Gardeners are often surprised to learn that there are hardy Cyclamen available. This selection is excellent for winter and early spring display. Flowers are like little rose-pink shooting stars, the petals bending backwards. These may begin to appear as early as January, depending on climate. The rounded leaves have a dark-green Christmas-tree shaped centre, surrounded by a silvery margin. Plants may become dormant for the summer months, so mark the spot carefully. Do not plant any deeper than the container soil surface, as the tuberous roots can easily rot if planted too deeply. Plants may self seed, though the progeny might vary in foliage or flower colour. Introduced by Terra Nova Nurseries of Oregon, this is the first tissue culture propagated Cyclamen to reach the market. USPP#19894: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
