Erysimum ‘Yellow Bird’

Alpine Wallflower

USDA Zone: 6-9

Plant number: 1.206.160

This is a compact, biennial Wallflower selection that forms a bushy mound of dark green leaves the first season, then early in the second spring it bursts into bloom with clusters of fragrant golden-yellow flowers. Perfect for the sunny rock garden, or in the sunny border. Allow some plants to form seeds, which should self sow to provide the next generation. Thin seedlings to stand about 8 inches apart, or transplant some to a new location while they are small. Grows best in mild winter regions. Drought tolerant once established. Evergreen where hardy.
