Euphorbia characias ‘Portuguese Velvet’
Evergreen Spurge |
USDA Zone: 7-9 |
Plant number: 1.208.600
Evergreen Spurge is a favourite of gardeners in mild-winter regions, usually used as a specimen plant or focal point in the winter and early spring border. Plants form an upright, bushy mound, bearing velvety evergreen blue-grey leaves. This selection features large clusters of bronzy-gold flowers in very early spring, contrasting beautifully with the foliage. Has a unique, bold sculptural effect. In colder regions this may be grown in a container and brought indoors to a cool, bright spot for the winter. CAUTION: skin and eye irritant/toxic if eaten.
