European Meadowsweet is a border perennial with bold, ferny foliage similar to Astilbe. Plants form a bushy clump, bearing sprays of creamy-white flowers in early summer. Excellent at the waterside, or in any moist to wet sunny or part shaded border. Flower heads should be trimmed off after blooming. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring.
