This outstanding selection forms a spreading patch of silver leaves with clusters of deep magenta-purple flowers that appear in spring, then continue on and off until fall. Fairly tolerant of dry shade, once established. Trim or mow back hard in late winter. Evergreen. The habit is about twice the height of most other selections. Excellent vigour. Introduced by Intrinsic Perennial Gardens of Illinois in 2007.
