Lysimachia punctata ‘Gaulthier Brousse’
Yellow Loosestrife |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.340.200
Also known as Circle Flower, this is not to be confused with the noxious weed, Purple Loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria). This recent introduction forms an upright, bushy clump of green foliage, tinged with bronze early in the season, later becoming green. Star-shaped yellow flowers appear during the summer. An excellent, long-lasting cut flower. Plants spread to form a patch, and may need to be reduced each spring to keep it in check.
