Macleaya microcarpa ‘Kelway’s Coral Plume’
Plume Poppy |
USDA Zone: 2-9 |
Plant number: 1.348.100
This selection of Plume Poppy is a giant background plant with handsome, deeply-lobed powdery blue-grey leaves, topped in summer by big bronzy-coral coloured plumes. Plants will spread fairly quickly to form a large patch, so be sure to remove unwanted shoots in the spring. May also be grown in a large tub or pot, above the ground or sunk to the rim. Foliage and flowers are splendid for cutting. Quite popular as a specimen in large borders. Clumps are easily divided in early spring or late fall.
