Oenothera glabra
Smooth Sundrops |
USDA Zone: 5-9 |
Plant number: 1.400.390
Smooth Sundrops forms a bushy, non-spreading mound of deep green leaves, with loads of satiny chrome-yellow flowers in summer. This performs well at the border edge, in the rock garden or growing in containers. Divide plants every two years in spring to maintain vigour or start new ones every few years from your own seed. Drought tolerant once established. This correct species name for this plant is currently in question. Our original plants arrived from England with this name. Please bear with us while we try and sort it out.
