Omphalodes cappadocica ‘Cherry Ingram’
Navel-seed |
USDA Zone: 6-9 |
Plant number: 1.400.450
A cousin to the Forget-me-not, also called Blue-eyed Mary. Navel-seed is a true perennial, and will last in the garden for many years, sometimes self seeding lightly. They are happiest in a rich, moist woodland setting, the dense mounds of deep green leaves are useful among shrubs, or in the rock garden. Airy sprays of flowers appear in early spring, deep blue at first, changing to violet. Good companion plant to Hostas and ferns. A garden gem! Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit winner.
