Potentilla hyparctica

Arctic Cinquefoil

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.440.070

This Cinquefoil is a low mound or tuft-forming plant, nice for edging or growing in the rock garden. Single yellow buttercup flowers are held just above a mound of fuzzy, strawberry-like leaves during late spring and early summer. Requires good drainage. Native to high arctic regions across the Northern Hemispere. This has a taproot, so is not very easily divided. Most likely hardy to Zone 2 or colder.
