Primula capitata ‘Noverna Deep Blue’

Capitata Primrose

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.445.260

This unusual Asiatic Primrose selection requires rich and evenly moist soil to succeed. It forms a low rosette of grey-green foliage. Drumstick style powdery-white stems rise taller, bearing clusters of deep blue Scabiosa-like flowers during late spring and early summer. Perfect for a moist rock garden or in light shade beside a stream or pond. Best in cool summer regions. Not always an easy species to grow but well worth the effort.
