Solidaster ‘Lemore’
Yellow Solidaster |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.494.510
An unusual hybrid between Aster and Goldenrod, this has been developed as a commercial cut flower all over the world. Plants form a bushy mound of green leaves, bearing heads of soft primrose-yellow flowers for weeks on end. Nice as a late season accent in the sunny border, especially good contrasting with anything in lavender or blue shades. Appreciates moist soil, which will help to prevent rust and powdery mildew. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. Attractive to butterflies.
