Teucrium chamaedrys ‘Tickle Pink’

Creeping Germander

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.510.260

Germander is a low, shrubby perennial historically used for edging herb gardens; the species native to the mountainous regions of southwest Asia and Europe. This selection has fragrant, green leaves with short spikes of deep pink flowers appearing in summer. Excellent in troughs, containers, low hedges, knot gardens, rock gardens, or as edging. Attractive to butterflies. Inclined to spread to form a patch, but easy to control by edging. Evergreen in mild winter regions. Plants may be pruned to maintain a low height, if desired.
