Verbascum ‘Caribbean Crush’

Hybrid Mullein

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.537.500

Cousins to the common roadside mullein, the Hybrid Mulleins are unusual, showy plants for the well-drained sunny border. Above a flat rosette of triangular felty silver-green leaves, form tall spikes of flowers in a delightful blend of mango, soft yellow, peachy-salmon and muted plum. Plants flower over a long period, and the spikes are excellent for cutting. Inclined to exhaust itself to death, any small offsets should be removed each spring, to start new plants. Appreciates a light, well-drained soil.
