A distinctive selection of our native Purple Coneflower bred in the UK by plantsman Anthony Brooks. Fairly compact in habit, an ideal height for sunny borders and growing in mixed containers. This selection has multiple blooms per stem, which is a very unique feature. The large flowers have a flat row of clear magenta-pink petals surrounding a large central cone of rusty orange. Flowering begins in midsummer and continues for weeks if faded blooms are regularly removed. Coneflowers are sturdy and easy-care perennials that perform best in a sunny location. Flowers are very attractive to butterflies. Seed heads are useful in dried arrangements. Excellent for cutting. USPP#18133: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
