Dryopteris filix-mas ‘Barnesii’

Barnes’ Narrow Male Fern

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 9.030.280

An excellent specimen fern for a moist woodland setting, forming a clump of delicate, upright fronds which have a slightly ruffled appearance. Plants are well-behaved and not at all invasive. Foliage is attractive all summer long, and may be used as greenery in flower arranging. Appreciates a mulch of leaves to retain moisture during the summer. Clumps may be easily divided in spring, every 3 to 4 years. Deciduous.
