Dryopteris marginalis

Leather Wood Fern

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 9.030.400

A fern native to woodland areas of north-eastern North America, this adapts well to gardens that offer similar moist, shady conditions. Plants form leathery green fronds, arranged in a single-crowned clump. Not invasive. Foliage remains evergreen in most regions, but may benefit from clipping back in late winter. Easy and reliable.
