The many selections of Anise-Hyssop now available are terrific additions to the summer border. Flowers are held in showy spikes above a large bushy mound of licorice-scented leaves. This compact variety has lavender-blue blooms, excellent for cutting. Excellent in mixed containers. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Flowers are edible, and make an interesting addition to salads, or used as a garnish. Easily divided in spring. Flower petals are edible.
