Primula auricula Alois

Auricula Primrose

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.446.820

This unique and special show, or collector, primrose is delightful in a rock garden, container or border. Leaves are thick and waxy with a dusting almost like flour, forming a low rosette. Striking flowers are bicolour, with a purple exterior ring so dark it is almost black, a shimmering silver-white inner ring, and a yellow centre. Appreciates evenly moist soil but needs good drainage. Clumps may be divided carefully after blooming or in early fall. Evergreen. BAVARIAN GAUDI™ series.
