Phlox paniculata ‘Tequila Sunrise’

Summer Phlox

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.415.970

Summer Phlox is very popular for its midsummer display in the border. This compact selection produces large clusters of fragrant flowers with deep salmon-orange overlapping petals surrounding a tiny red eye, on strong stems. The dwarf habit makes this suitable for the front of the border and in containers. Attractive to butterflies. Flowering is always best in a sunny location. Improved mildew resistance although all Summer Phlox benefit from a location that provides good air circulation and consistent moisture. Removing faded flowers will encourage more buds to form. From plant breeder Jan Verschoor of the Netherlands. USPP#20800: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
