Aurinia saxatilis ‘Citrina’

Perennial Alyssum

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.091.100

(Formerly Alyssum) Among the most popular of spring-flowering perennials, this is a beautiful sight in rock gardens. Plants form a low bushy mound of grey-green leaves, smothered in masses of tiny, soft lemon-yellow flowers for several weeks. A good choice for edging, rock walls or in mixed containers. Often planted alongside other spring blooming rock garden plants, such as Arabis or Aubrieta, and combines beautifully with spring flowering bulbs of all types. Clip plants back by half, immediately after blooming. Not easily divided. Drought tolerant. Evergreen.
