Vancouver Medallion Hellebore

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.255.300

(=‘Candy Love’) This outstanding hybrid has been named ‘Vancouver Medallion’ to commemorate the 2010 Winter Olympics. An introduction from the Belgian nursery Het Wilgenbroek, this hybrid is sturdy and vigorous. The leathery evergreen leaves develop reddish veins during early spring. Big, outfacing ivory blooms are tinged with pink, gradually ageing to dusky cocoa-chocolate. Blooming may well start during winter in mild regions. Avoid doing any pruning other than to remove dead leaves or stems down near the base of the plant. Quite possibly hardy to Zone 4. USPP#19413: unlicensed propagation prohibited. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant.
