Dryopteris filix-mas Crispa

(=‘Crispatissima’) Male Ferns are among the easiest ferns to grow in the garden, preferring moist woodland conditions. This selection has triangular green fronds with crimped and ruffled edges. Because of its compact habit, this is useful in the rock garden or mixed containers, as well as in the garden. Well-behaved and not invasive. Old foliage should be cut to the ground in late winter. Deciduous.
