The groundcover type of Stonecrop is the perfect size for growing at the front of a sunny border or for edging pathways. This selection forms a low, compact mound of shiny, cherry-red thumbnail-sized foliage with pink variegated edges. Large rose-pink flowerheads appear in late summer, lasting for weeks. Great mass planted on slopes, green roof systems or as a groundcover in other sunny areas. Excellent in containers. Flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies. Plant in full sign to obtain best colour. Newest edition to the SUNSPARKLER® Series from Chris Hansen. Sport of S. ‘Firecracker’. USPP#28621: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
