Astilbe × crispa ‘Perkeo’
Dwarf Astilbe |
USDA Zone: 4-9 |
Plant number: 1.087.700
Astilbe are a popular choice for shady gardens, where they perform well if given a rich, moist soil and regular watering. This unusual, tiny growing selection features small dark-pink plumes, over a compact mound of elegant, crispy green leaves. Also thrives in tubs, or mixed containers. Excellent for the shady rock garden. Seed heads may be removed, or left on the plant for winter interest. Plants should be divided every 2 to 3 years, in early spring. Will tolerate full sun, in cool summer regions.
