Astrantia major ‘Vanilla Gorilla’

Variegated Masterwort

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.088.140

This new Masterwort will be a standout in any partially shaded garden. It features stunning, serrated and deeply lobed, blue-green leaves with wide vanilla margins that remain handsome all season. Silvey-pink pincushion flowers appear early to mid summer. Deadheading will encourage a second flush of blooms. Cooler weather produces pink highlights in the variegated foliage. Very tidy, reliable, trouble-free and well-behaved. Discovered by Brad Grover (a.k.a. Vanilla Gorilla) hence its name.
