Campanula takesimana

Korean Bellflower

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.110.600

Bellflowers are among the most popular of perennials. This species is of medium height, and perfect for the sun or part-shade border. Plants form a spreading mound of light green leaves, bearing upright stems of large lilac-pink drooping bells, spotted inside with maroon. Clumps are inclined to spread vigorously, so plan to give this space. Easily divided in spring or fall. Stems may need to be staked. Combines beautifully with Cranesbill Geraniums, Phlox or Hosta. Also excellent in containers or tubs. Outstanding cut flower.
