Coreopsis ‘Jethro Tull’

Hybrid Coreopsis

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.165.580

A hybrid selection developed in Georgia. This forms a compact clump of dark-green leaves, with loads of upright stems that hold single golden-yellow daisies with a ring of tubular or fluted petals. Blooming starts in early summer and continues for many weeks if faded flowers are removed. Terrific for the front of a sunny border or in containers. Dislikes being overly dry, so water during drought. Tolerates hot, humid summers. Attractive to butterflies. Developed by ItSaul Plants, a cross between Coreopsis ‘Zamphir’ and ‘Early Sunrise'. USPP#18789: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
