Dianthus Early Bird™ Chili

Early Bird Pinks

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.181.300

(=‘WP10 Sab06’) Pinks are especially popular as edging plants or in the rock garden. The Early Bird™ series from Britain are exceptionally early and long-flowering. This selection forms a low, grassy blue-green cushion, bearing upright stems of electric cherry-pink, double flowers, early spring through late summer. Flowers have a spicy clove fragrance. Drought tolerant once established. Shear lightly after blooming. Flowers may be attractive to butterflies. Excellent choice for window boxes and containers. Evergreen. This selection may well prove to be hardy to Zone 3 or colder, but excellent drainage is essential. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
