Dianthus Early Bird™ Sherbet

Early Bird Pinks

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.181.340

(=‘WP08 NIK03’) Pinks are especially popular as edging plants or in the rock garden. The Early Bird™ series from Britain are exceptionally early, long-flowering and fragrant. This selection forms a low, grassy, blue-green cushion, bearing upright stems of double, cherry-pink flowers, appearing early spring and lasting through to late summer. Excellent choice for window boxes and containers. Drought tolerant once established. Shear lightly after blooming. Flowers may be attractive to butterflies. Evergreen. This selection may well prove to be hardy to Zone 3 or colder, but excellent drainage is essential. USPP#21418: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
