A remarkable hybrid, this forms a compact and robust, bushy clump of long, blue-green leaves that emerge red-purple in spring. Large, glowing, chartreuse flower bracts appear in early summer, staying attractive for weeks. An excellent cut flower. A cross between E. characias ssp. wulfenii and E. amygdaloides ‘Rubra’. CAUTION: skin & eye irritant/toxic if eaten.
